Erica Kemmerley focuses exclusively on domestic relations matters and is a respected family law attorney. She joined Sherr Puttmann Akins Lamb PC as Special Counsel in 2019, bringing more than 38 years of family law experience to the firm. Prior to joining, Erica practiced with Hunnicutt & Appelman PC, a premier family law firm in Denver, since 1999. Much of Erica’s practice encompasses high-asset and complex financial cases. Along with her family law litigation cases, Erica was formally trained in 2012 to handle collaborative divorce cases. Handling both types of cases enables Erica to strike a healthy balance for her practice and for her clients. She is committed to reaching amicable resolutions through the collaborative process and alternative dispute resolution whenever possible. Drawing on her own experience navigating divorce with a young child, Erica is dedicated to fostering and protecting healthy co-parenting relationships. Her personal insight brings empathy and wisdom as she guides clients through the emotional, psychological, and financial complexities of divorce. Clients value the practical and healing perspective Erica brings to each unique situation, helping them move forward with confidence post-divorce.
